Yria: The sanctuary of the god Dionysus In the region of Hyria, we find the Sanctuary of Dionysus, which historians consider the precursor of the Parthenon. It is located a few minutes away from the village of Agios Arsenios and about 10 km from Chora.
Kouros and the Daughter of Melanes Two of the most characteristic statues-monuments not only of Naxos but of Greece, are the Kouros and the Daughter of Melanes located in the Flerio area, after the village of Myloi and before the village of Kynidaros, which is about 9 km from Chora
The temple of Demeter or otherwise the Sanctuary of Gyroula. The archaeological site is located in the village of Sagri, in the center of the island.
Kouros of Apollon is a landmark on the island. The impressive marble statue is estimated to have been created in the 6th century BC and its length exceeds 10 m. It is "lying" at the entrance of the ancient quarry of the area and impresses the visitors of the island with its volume.
Filoti: is located 18.3 km east of Naxos Town. It is the largest village of the island. It has a rich history, many important monuments and the wider area is suitable for those who love hiking, as there are many walking paths.
Apollonas: is located 54 km northeast of Chora. Its picturesque port, the statue of Kouros and the beach of the village are an occasion for an excursion to the northern part of Naxos.
Halki: is located 15 km east of Naxos Town. Its mansions, imposing towers and Byzantine churches testify that the village once experienced times of glory. Halki - otherwise known as Tragaia - used to be the capital of the island.
Koronos: is located 30km northeast of Naxos Town and has been characterized by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful villages of the Cyclades.
The tower of Oskelos is one of the few located relatively close to the sea. It stands out for its great height and strongly defensive character. In addition, it offers a very nice view towards Paros and Ios.
East of us ( 2.7 km – 7min)
Bazaios Tower: It was built in the 17th century and functioned as a monastery of the Holy Cross dedicated to Christ and is one of the most characteristic examples of post-Byzantine architecture. The monastery functioned until the 19th century. Its premises now host important cultural events during the summer.
Portara The island of Palaces and Portara are indisputably the imposing symbol of Naxos. It is built on the island of Palaces, or the island of Bacchus as it is called otherwise and is located to the left of the port of Naxos.
Apiranthos: is located 32 km southwest of Chora. A characteristic feature of the village is the traditional architecture of the stone houses, the well-preserved churches and the four museums.
– Windsurfing activity – Kite surfing in Mikri Vigla.
– Glyfada Lagoon, a brackish wetland, chosen by many birds during their migratory journey.
– Alykos Cedar Forest : The area is 800 acres and is one of the 8 largest in Greece. Its trees have an average age of 200 to 300 years.

OUR GUESTS LOVE US
What our guests are saying about us
Awesome
I loved the design / aesthetics, it’s a small space but it feels spacious still due to it’s design. It’s close to the airport, so i just walked there, the bus stop is right across the street. Naxos’ coast is one long sandy beach, and you can get to the closest one in 2min (walking). Staff is friendly and accommodating.
A superb self catering room which had everything we needed
The location was great, on the southern end of Naxos town but only 5 minutes walk from Agios Georgios beach which has many tavernas and sunbeds. It's right next to the Princess Hotel which makes it easy to locate, with local buses stopping there, this hotel causing us no problems whatsoever, just added value with their pool and bar area. The centre of the town of Naxos can beach easily reached on foot in under 15 minutes, the ferry port is 20-25 minutes away on foot, but both can easily be reached on the half hourly bus service.
Wholesome hospitality
Fotini was so welcoming, the place was tidy/clean and I felt very at home there. They really go above and beyond. Great value for money, highly recommend.
